This reduced the time it took to produce a car and made them more affordable. The development of high-strength steel and advanced plastics helped reduce the weight of cars as well. In addition, the introduction of electricity and power steering, seats, windows and air conditioning further increased their comfort.
A big advantage of owning an automobile is that it provides people with the freedom to travel where they want without being dependent on other people or public transport.
